Here is the answer to those who refuse to understand that the 2nd amendment (like all the other amendments in the bill of rights.) is an enumeration of a right which belongs to INDIVIDUALS. If you choose to believe that only the "militia" has the right to keep and bear arms. Very well, then most of us are in fact by federal law, members of the militia. Frankly I think the provision is a bit sexist and ageist. But there you have it.
