A transplant from Benicia, California. Married to a wonderful woman. Lucky enough to work in a profession I love. Living a very comfortable satisfying life. I'm a pretty lucky guy. You cannot support the troops without supporting their mission. They're fighting for us.

"If it moves, government will tax it. If it still moves government will regulate it. If it stops moving government will subsidize it."....Ronald Reagan. Let's get government out of our way! Don't fall for the "change we can believe in" drivel. Our salvation lies in self-reliance, from which stems liberty itself. Have the courage to be free. Freedom isn't a guarantee of success. You might very well fail. But as scary as that may be, it's still FREEDOM!...a300mech July 1, 2008

From the page: "Wars that are won on the battlefield can be lost here at home on the political battlefield. Do not underestimate the contribution you have made on the political battlefield here at home. You have stuck with the cause of freedom, and as a result, we are not only winning the war in Iraq, we are winning the war here at home in America." - Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT)"
US CODE: Title 10,311. Militia: composition and classes

From the page: "US CODE: Title 10,311. Militia: composition and classes (a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard. (b) The classes of the militia (1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and (2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia." Title X US code of federal regulations. Here is the answer to those who refuse to understand that the 2nd amendment (like all the other amendments in the bill of rights.) is an enumeration of a right which belongs to INDIVIDUALS. If you choose to believe that only the "militia" has the right to keep and bear arms. Very well, then most of us are in fact by federal law, members of the militia. Frankly I think the provision is a bit sexist and ageist. But there you have it.
